Progress / Result Seminar

To successfully complete the Master’s Degree in English Language Education, students must go through a structured academic process consisting of three main stages: Proposal Seminar, Research Results Seminar, and Thesis Defense. Each stage is designed to evaluate different aspects of students’ academic readiness — from research planning and data presentation to final thesis defense — ensuring that every graduate meets the university’s academic and publication standards.

All students are strongly advised to prepare each requirement carefully and consult regularly with their supervisors to ensure smooth progression and timely completion of their study.

Research Results Seminar Requirements

After completing the data collection and analysis process, students are required to present their findings in the Research Results Seminar. This stage provides an opportunity to share research progress, validate results, and receive constructive feedback from supervisors and examiners before proceeding to the final defense. It also serves to ensure that the research outcomes align with the approved proposal and academic integrity standards.

To register for the Research Results Seminar, students must prepare and submit the following requirements:

  1. Complete the registration form (download here)

  2. Approval page signed by both supervisors, examiners, and the Coordinator of the Study Program.

  3. Submit 4 printed copies of the thesis draft (tape binding).

  4. Submit 4 printed copies of the presentation slides (maximum 15 slides).
