Bengkulu, August 24, 2026 – The Master’s Program in English Language Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Bengkulu, conducted its Internal Quality Audit (Audit Mutu Internal/AMI) on Monday, August 24, 2026. The activity was part of the Study Program’s continuous commitment to ensuring academic quality and strengthening its quality assurance system.
The audit was held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. (WIB) in the Discussion Room of the Master’s Program in English Language Education. The audit team from the Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP), Universitas Bengkulu, consisted of Dr. Gumono as Lead Auditor and Dr. Euis Nursaadah as Auditor.
The activity was officially opened by the Head of the Master’s Program in English Language Education, Dr. Iis Sujarwati, M.Pd. It was also attended by the Program’s Quality Control Unit (GKM), represented by Dr. Ira Maisarah, S.Hum., M.Pd., as well as faculty members Prof. Dr. Wisma Yunita, M.Pd. and Dr. Kasmaini, M.Pd.
Throughout the audit, the auditors reviewed relevant documents and engaged the Study Program team in discussions concerning various aspects of academic management and quality assurance. The discussions were conducted in a constructive, comprehensive, and collegial atmosphere, providing opportunities not only to verify compliance with established quality standards but also to identify areas for further improvement and strengthen existing good practices.
The feedback and recommendations provided by the auditors are expected to serve as an important basis for continuous quality improvement. The audit also provided a valuable forum for strengthening shared understanding among the auditors, Study Program management, the Quality Control Unit, and faculty members regarding the importance of embedding a sustainable quality culture in all aspects of academic management.
According to Dr. Iis Sujarwati, M.Pd., the Internal Quality Audit represents an important step in ensuring and continuously enhancing the quality of the Study Program.
“The Internal Quality Audit is an important mechanism for ensuring that our quality assurance processes are implemented consistently while helping us identify areas that require further strengthening. The audit findings and recommendations will guide our continuous improvement efforts and support the Study Program’s preparation for both national and international accreditation.”
Through the implementation of the Internal Quality Audit, the Master’s Program in English Language Education, FKIP Universitas Bengkulu, reaffirms its commitment to developing a sustainable quality culture, strengthening academic governance, and continuously improving the quality of its educational provision. The audit findings will be followed up systematically as part of the Study Program’s continuous quality assurance cycle and its efforts to enhance competitiveness at both national and international levels.
