Final Thesis Exam Requirements
To complete your thesis exam, please ensure you include the following documents and materials:
  1. Thesis Exam Application Letter (download the template here)
  2. Approval Page (it must be wholly signed by the supervisors, the examiner, and the Study Program Coordinator; it can be taken from your consultation book)
  3. Thesis Draft Copies (submit four copies of your thesis draft, bound with tape binding)
  4. Presentation Materials (prepare a PowerPoint presentation consisting of a maximum of 15 slides, with four copies to be submitted)
  5. TOEFL Certificate (include a legalized copy of a TOEFL certificate indicating a score of at least 450, obtained from the Language UPT institution at UNIB or an equivalent from a recognized international institution)
  6. Thesis Plagiarism-Free Certificate (obtain and submit a certificate from the FKIP UNIB plagiarism checking unit, UPP FKIP)
  7. International Seminar Certificate (submit a photocopy of your presenter certificate from an international seminar where you were the first author)
  8. *Proof of Publication (provide evidence of your scientific work publication.
Note:
* Students who have previously published scientific work in national journals with a minimum Sinta 4 are required to submit the results of their thesis, marked as ‘awaiting assignment,’ to a journal that is also indexed at least at Sinta 4. This must be verified by providing a screenshot of the submission from the Online Journal System (OJS). Additionally, the submission must include the names of two supervisors affiliated with the Master of English Language Education program at FKIP UNIB.
* Students who have not yet published scientific work in national journals with a minimum Sinta 4 are required to submit the results of their thesis to a journal that is indexed at least at Sinta 4, with the status of ‘accepted.‘ This must be verified by providing a Letter of Acceptance (LoA). Additionally, the submission must include the names of two supervisors affiliated with the Master of English Language Education program at FKIP UNIB.

Ensure all documents are submitted per these guidelines to facilitate a smooth thesis examination process.

  • All files must be submitted to the MPBIng Study Program administration staff during registration.
  • The exam schedule will be created only when all files are complete.
  • Scheduling will occur one week after the administration receives the files.
  • The Study Program will determine the examiners.
