Admission – Master’s Program in English Language Education (MPBIng)

The Master’s Program in English Language Education (MPBIng) welcomes highly motivated graduates to join a program that develops competent educators, researchers, and professionals with strong global competitiveness. Admission is carried out transparently and fairly, based on Rector’s Regulation of Universitas Bengkulu No. 10/2024, through several pathways.

Admission Pathways

🔹 Regular Track

Requirements:

  • Indonesian citizen (WNI).

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in English Education or other relevant fields.

  • GPA ≥ 2.75 (for excellent/internationally accredited programs) or ≥ 3.00 (for nationally accredited programs).

  • Academic Potential Test (TPA) score ≥ 450.

  • TOEFL ≥ 400 (or equivalent).

Procedure:

  1. Online registration via Regular Track Registration.

  2. Upload required documents.

  3. Administrative selection.

  4. Entrance test: Academic Potential Test, English Test, and Interview.

  5. Announcement of results.

  6. Academic registration and KRS submission.

🔹 Fast-Track Program

Requirements:

  • Active undergraduate student of English Education at UNIB.

  • Minimum GPA 3.25.

  • Completed at least 110 credits (SKS), minimum grade B.

  • TOEFL ITP ≥ 400, CBT ≥ 97, iBT ≥ 32, or IELTS ≥ 4.5.

Procedure:

  1. Online registration via Fast-Track Registration.

  2. Upload transcript, recommendation letter, and study plan.

  3. Interview with the selection committee.

  4. Rector’s Decree for admitted students.

🔹 International Track

Requirements:

  • Foreign citizen.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an internationally recognized, accredited university.

  • TOEFL ≥ 450 or IELTS ≥ 5.

  • Valid study visa and recommendation letter.

Procedure:

  1. Online registration via International Registration.

  2. Upload required documents.

  3. Official Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and immigration process.

  4. Academic registration and KRS submission.

🔹 Privilege Track

This pathway is a special recognition for graduates of the English Education Bachelor’s Program at UNIB with Cum Laude honors.

  • Students are admitted without entrance tests, but must still complete all academic and administrative requirements of the Regular Track.
