About AMI
Universitas Bengkulu (UNIB) conducts the Audit Mutu Internal (AMI) annually as part of its commitment to ensuring continuous quality assurance in both academic and non-academic fields. This annual activity serves as a systematic evaluation process to monitor, assess, and improve the implementation of educational, research, and community service standards in line with national higher education quality frameworks. Through AMI, UNIB strengthens accountability, enhances institutional performance, and supports the realization of its vision to become an excellent, cultured, and globally competitive university.
Objectives of AMI
The primary objective of AMI is to strengthen the culture of quality across all faculties and study programs at UNIB. Specifically, the audit aims to:
-
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of academic and non-academic quality standards.
-
Ensure compliance with SN-Dikti (Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi) and internal quality benchmarks.
-
Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
-
Provide constructive recommendations for continuous improvement in teaching, research, and service.
Audit Process
As part of the process, each study program is required to prepare and submit supporting documents through the official platform https://sintamu.unib.ac.id. After submission, within 2–4 weeks, an on-site visitation is conducted by two assigned assessors. These assessors are officially appointed by the Lembaga Penjamin Mutu dan Pengembangan Pembelajaran (LPMPP), ensuring that the audit is carried out with professionalism, objectivity, and adherence to established standards.
The audit process includes document verification, interviews with academic staff and stakeholders, as well as direct observation of facilities and the implementation of learning at the study program level.
Impact for Faculties and Study Programs
Through AMI, faculties and study programs at UNIB gain valuable insights into their performance and receive constructive feedback to enhance quality assurance practices. The audit not only helps maintain accreditation standards but also builds a stronger foundation for international collaborations, research competitiveness, and graduate employability.
Commitment to Continuous Improvement
The successful implementation of AMI reflects UNIB’s unwavering commitment to building a culture of accountability and quality. By consistently conducting this annual activity, UNIB ensures that every academic and administrative unit is actively contributing to the realization of the university’s strategic goals, particularly in achieving excellence and global competitiveness.
