Bengkulu, October 13, 2025- The Master’s Program in English Language Education (MPBIng), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Bengkulu, proudly congratulates Fitri Ade Andriani, S.Pd. (SRN A2B024020), a third-semester student of MPBIng FKIP UNIB and an English teacher at SMP Al-Karim, Kota Bengkulu, for being selected for the second time by the U.S. Embassy Jakarta to participate in the prestigious TESOL Self-Study: Teaching and Assessing Young Learners (TAYL) course.
After previously achieving the same honor in 2024, Fitri once again received this international recognition in 2025, demonstrating her commitment to continuous professional development and her dedication to improving English teaching practices for young learners in Indonesia.
The TESOL Self-Study (TAYL) program is sponsored by the Office of English Language Programs, U.S. Department of State, through the Regional English Language Office (RELO), U.S. Embassy Jakarta, in collaboration with TESOL International Association, GTK Dikdas Kemendikbudristek, Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), TEFLIN, and APSPBI/TBI-PTKI.
This 60-hour professional development course equips teachers with updated pedagogical strategies for teaching and assessing young learners, guided by expert mentors and supported by international learning resources. The program provides opportunities for educators to expand their professional networks and strengthen their global teaching competence.
