Bengkulu, October 9, 2025 — The Master’s Program in English Language Education (MPBIng), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Bengkulu, proudly congratulates Mr. Lailatul Qadar, S.Pd. (Student ID: A2B025010), a first-semester student, for being selected as one of the national awardees of the TESOL Course – “Teaching and Assessing Young Learners” scholarship program organized by the Directorate of Primary Education Teachers, Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).
The scholarship recipients were officially announced through Letter No. 2129/B5/GT.02.00/2025, dated August 14, 2025, signed by Dr. Drs. Rachmadi Widdiharto, M.A., Director of Primary Education Teachers. The program aims to enhance the professional competencies of Indonesian English teachers through international-standard TESOL training focused on Teaching and Assessing Young Learners (TAYL).
Mr. Lailatul Qadar, S.Pd., who currently serves as an English teacher at SMPIT Iqra Kota Bengkulu, was selected alongside other outstanding teachers from across Indonesia, representing various provinces including Aceh, Bali, South Sulawesi, and East Java.
The TESOL Course is currently ongoing from 22 September to 19 December 2025, and fully funded by Kemendikbudristek. This prestigious program offers participants advanced training in pedagogical innovation, assessment literacy, and effective instructional strategies for young learners in global English language teaching contexts.
Dr. Iis Sujarwati, M.Pd., Head of the Master’s Program in English Language Education, expressed her pride and appreciation for Mr. Lailatul Qadar’s achievement, stating:
