Bengkulu, 29 September 2025 — The Head of the English Language Education Postgraduate Program (MPBIng), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Bengkulu, Dr. Iis Sujarwati, participated in the APSPBI Annual Business Meeting held in Bali, 26–27 September 2025. The two-day agenda began with an international conference, bringing together more than 100 English lecturers from across Indonesia to discuss current issues and cooperation in English language education.
During the meeting, Dr. Iis engaged in strategic discussions and signed several Implementation Arrangements (IA) to expand academic collaboration and mobility. The agreements include partnerships with:

In addition to these signings, she initiated a cooperation pathway with the British Council, focusing on opportunities for English proficiency test takers. The aim is to provide MPBIng students and broader stakeholders with improved access to internationally recognized assessment services.
“Collaboration is central to elevating research, curriculum innovation, and student mobility,” said Dr. Iis Sujarwati. “Through APSPBI’s platform, we are aligning resources and expertise to enhance the quality and impact of English language education nationwide.”

About the Event
The APSPBI Annual Business Meeting is a national forum for English Language Education study programs to coordinate strategic agendas, strengthen quality assurance, and foster multi-institutional collaboration. This year’s program in Bali combined scholarly discourse through an international conference with practical partnership building.
